Our lodging is truly unforgettable. If you love the outdoors and appreciate history, this is the place for you! Our cabins range from rustic (standard) units, to our premiere modern cabins with all the amenities. With all the history and its unique setting, the Bird's Nest Lodge is quite an attraction for persons seeking a relaxing or adventuresome get away.

Premiere Cabins
Rented year-round. Brand new cabins w/ breathtaking views and all the amenities,
including central air-conditioning and heat, full kitchens, and huge decks with hot-tubs.
*Note: Sunday is hot-tub maintenance day and therefore sometimes unavailable on Sunday.
Minimum cabin occupancy applies on weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day .

Eagles Nest
Located on the top of the property, scenic view overlooking the the lodge, birds nest bridge, and river. Secluded cabin with 6 double beds, large deck and hot tub, spacious bathroom, full bath-tub and shower. Central heating/cooling. Sleeps up to 14 people (minimum 10 people Memorial Day through Labor Day).
  The Roost
Brand new air conditioned log cabin on a scenic bluff overlooking the river. Full kitchen and five double beds. Large deck and hot tub. Central heating/cooling. Sleeps up to 10 people (minimum 10 people Memorial Day through Labor Day).

Peacock (formerly the Loft)
Attached to the main lodge building, the loft features a hot tub on a spacious deck overlooking the beautiful Meramec River. The Loft has a full kitchen, bathroom with bath-tub and shower, and central heating/cooling. With 6 double-beds, this room sleeps up to 12 people (minimum 10 people Memorial Day through Labor Day).

  Hawk
Newly refurbished cabin in 2011, a beautiful 3 level cabin with a great view overlooking the lodge, bridge, and river. Full kitchen, lLarge deck with BBQ grill and hot tub. Central heating/cooling. Beautiful cedar rail loft with 2 double beds, and 2 private bedrooms with a double bed in each,and futon on main floor. Sleeps up to 10 people.

Raven
Coming in 2012! Attached to the main lodge building, the Raven features one of the premiere views of the beautiful Meramec River. It has a full kitchen, bathroom with bath-tub and shower, and central heating/cooling. With 6 queen-beds, and 2 futons, this room sleeps up to 18 people (min16 people Memorial Day through Labor Day).

Air conditioned units with private bath facilities. (Dishes & cooking utensils included)

Hen House (formerly White House)
Perfect for big groups, this is our largest cabin that sleeps 20-30 people (minimum 15 people Memorial Day through Labor Day). Tons of parking and spacious yard. Features a hot tub, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms with bath-tub and shower, and central heating/cooling. 		  Bird House
Air conditioned home with full kitchen. Large living room and two bedrooms, one with three double beds, and a double bed in the other. Huge covered deck with BBQ grill. Living room has two pull-out sofas and one twin bed. Private bath-tub and shower facilities. Sleeps up to 14 people (minimum 10 people Memorial Day through Labor Day).

Robin Room
Air conditioned with full kitchen and bathroom. Living room and two bedrooms, with three double beds. Sleeps up to 6 people.

   Hoot Owl (formerly Cabin 7)
Large air conditioned cabin with full kitchen, living room and two bedrooms with two double beds each. Roll-away sofa makes into double bed. Private bathroom. Sleeps up to 10 people (minimum 7 people Memorial Day through Labor Day).


Standard Cabins with Bathrooms (No Kitchens)
Air conditioned with private bathroom facilities.

Blue Heron (formerly Cabin 1)
Air conditioned cabin with three double beds. Private bathroom and porch. Sleeps up to 6 people.		   Skylark (formerly Cabin 2)
Air conditioned cabin with two double beds and private bathroom. Sleeps up to 4 people. 

Purple Martin (formerly Cabin 3)
Air conditioned cabin with two double beds and private bathroom. Sleeps up to 4 people.		   Cardinal (formerly Cabin 4)
Air conditioned cabin with living room, private bathroom and three bedrooms. Two rooms have two double beds, and the 3rd room has a double and one pull-out sofa that makes into a double bed. No kitchen but cabin has a small fridge and microwave. Sleeps up to 12 people (minimum 8 people Memorial Day through Labor Day).

Penguin (formerly Cabin 5)
Air conditioned cabin with two double beds and private bathroom. Sleeps up to 4 people.		   Finch (formerly Cabin 6)
Air conditioned cabin with two double beds and private bathroom. Sleeps up to 4 people.

Sparrow (formerly A-1)
Hummingbird (formerly A-2)

Two air conditioned modular duplexes containing two separate rental units in each.

They share a common porch and have full private bath facilities.

 

Woodpecker (formerly B-1)
Roadrunner (formerly B-2)

Two air conditioned modular duplexes containing two separate rental units in each.

They share a common porch and have full private bath facilities.


Ostrich - (previously Bunk 1)
Emu - (previously Bunk 3)
One building with porch across the front and two air-conditioned separate rooms with private bath. Each room has two doubles and one bunk bed. Total building sleeps up to 12 people. Each of the 2 rooms can be rented individually.

    

 


Standard Cabins (No Bathrooms and No Kitchens)
Air conditioned.

Al Capone Log Cabin
Secluded air-conditioned cabin with one double bed and one bunk bed. Sleeps up to 4 people.
  Lovebird (formerly the Nest)
Secluded air-conditioned cabin with one double bed and one bunk bed. Smallfront porch Sleeps up to 4 people.

Albatross - (previously Room A)
Blue Jay - (previously Room B)
Canary - (previously Room C)
Dove - (previously Room D)
Egret - (previously Room E)

Located directly across from the lodge entrance, these private sleeping rooms have a double bed, A/C, and a covered porch area.

    

 


Meramec River Lodge
New in 2008. Located just a few miles from Birds Nest.

Meramec River Lodge (view from hillside) -- 19 acres and a huge deck on all 3 levels ensures plenty of room to relax on a secluded river location.

 

Meramec River Lodge
Rented year-round. Historic 3-story building with suites overlooking the beautiful Meramec River.

NOTE: The room renovations are complete and available for rental.
